Project: A full house renovation including a complete refit of the kitchenStyle: Modern and minimalist

The challenge
My renovation project took four months which was hard work but also exciting as I was lucky to have a superb builder, Julian.

We worked closely in planning and designing the kitchen to meet my wants and needs perfectly. It involved the whole works - knocking down walls, putting in bifold windows and brand-new plumbing throughout.

We’ve got two teenagers in the house and so my aim from a design point of view was to make the kitchen both attractive and practical; a space where we can enjoy spending time with each other especially as we are a family that loves to cook.

The cooker I chose ticked all my boxes as I wanted gas and electric and in a beautiful vintage style. It’s cooks so well. The heat is always even, and it’s spacious and easy to clean. I look forward to cooking even more now.
